Too Many Web And Seo Blogs: About Me
I started this site so I could finally close all my Firefox tabs!
I’ve been rocking the web since 1996, and, I want to put all my bookmarks and notes down in one spot because…it’s time to get a little more organized. I’ll share some of my randomness and other aspects of web design and development that all culminate in making money online. I’ve spent hundreds of hours figuring out all sort of web, Wordpress, database, digitally culture stuff, and, I’m pretty sure I can make things a little bit easier for somebody. Or, at least a little more interesting. Not everything has to be useful. That’s an important thing I believe. Being interesting is supposed to count for something too! But, the world tends to devalue interestingness in favor of commerce.
And, that’s what this site is really about. We are fighting to restore dignity to the concept of interestingness! …while upholding the necessary and fundamental money-making value! I’ll tell you one thing that might not win me a popularity contest: There are way, way, way, way, way, way tooooooooooooooooooooooo many seo, sem, and web design blogs! If I don’t manage to do something a little different over here. I’ll give it up. What’s the point? But, I’m also not in favor of trying to be different for different’s sake. Nor am I in favor of mangling up the English language; but, that’s not stopping me from doing just that in this essay!

Off the top of my head, I’m going to tell you my favorite things in life and popular culture. Ready? American Idol, X Files, art, my daughter, my parents, my mp3 player, Thelonious Monk, Neutral Milk Hotel, Johnny Cash, Wycleff Jean, reading seo articles and wasting years of my life studying seo nonsense when I should have been actually developing more websites and making more money, eBay, poetry, Maine Coon cats…or really any cats in general…

Lifting weights and eating rare steaks and drinking protein shakes and jumping in lakes. And, of course…pornography! Only kidding.
Do you want some SEO advice…some free seo advice? Stop reading about God damn SEO and start picking some niches and START WRITING! And, start clicking the PUBLISH button! Each time you want to head over to reddit or digg or sphinn or seo chat or something… just start writing an article in your niche and click PUBLISH. And, that’s the best seo advice anyone can give you!
Okay, back to my favorite things…
Of course, the web…the internetz! Though, it’s gotten a lot lamer than it used to be. I’m all for people making money with their computers; but, serps are getting dominated with so much Viagra Cialis Poker spams…and, it gets tiring.
So, I’m basically all for putting up good, unique content and points of view. Or, if the subject doesn’t allow originality…at least some quality mates!
Okay, I’m going to shut up.
Let’s see if I update this thing or if it gets dusty.
But, when I thought of the domain name, RockWebMoney.com…it just seemed so catchy I had to buy it. And, I even registered it for three years. I never do that!
And, this is already turning into something that I’m working my web and development problems on…I just did that the other day with the Light Box 2 Wordpress plugin. And, I keep all my missteps and blunders on here…because I think a lot of people make some mistakes. So, check out mine as I attempt to make the all mighty buckeroos on line. Thankfully, I also develop client sites and do a bunch of freelance writing…so, yea…
